'Join, or Die' - Cabernet Sauvignon
Carmel ValleyShipping calculated at checkout.
First published by Benjamin Franklin in 1754, Join, or Die became one of the earliest and most enduring calls for unity in American history. What began as a warning that the colonies would not endure division eventually came to represent something larger: the understanding that strength, freedom, and self-government require people to stand together when it matters most.
That history is what shaped this bottle.
Created in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, this Massa Vineyard Reserve 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon reflects that same spirit of resolve and shared purpose. Sourced from the historic Massa Vineyard in Carmel Valley, Monterey County, this wine carries both depth and structure, with a steady, composed presence in the glass.
Structured and expressive, it opens with layers of black currant and ripe blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, graphite, and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, with dark cherry, plum, and a touch of cocoa adding depth, supported by firm, polished tannins that lead to a long, refined finish with lingering dark fruit and subtle oak.
